WORKING WITH HOMEOWNERS

The process of designing and building a home can be complex. Whether you are coming to us through a builder or on your own, we are committed to making that process go as smoothly as possible while designing the home of your dreams and within your budget.
At Venzi, we pride ourselves with being exceptional listeners! It is my philosophy that the best designed homes are designed from the inside out. How you live and function in your home is just as important as its exterior beauty. We are committed to finding the perfect solution that satisfies both.
From the initial design interview to the completion of construction documentation, we have a system to make the process go as smoothly as possible.
We work with several custom home builders throughout the valley and would be happy to help connect you with a builder that will best suite your project’s needs and budget.

working with builders

It is our experience that projects better stay on budget when we can collaborate with the builders from the start. From design meeting to finished plans, it is incredibly helpful to get input on specific elements and their cost impact throughout the design process. Builders have incredible ideas to bring to the table! Your collaboration and execution expertise is an important asset to the overall success of the design.
At Venzi, we are committed to giving your homeowners exceptional professionalism and design quality that they would expect from a large architecture firm.

our process

  • Review project needs, budget and timeline to make sure I can accommodate them before we spend any time on meetings.

  • Schedule a design interview where I get to know the client, ask a ton of questions, review inspiration photos and generally get a really good feel for what they are wanting to design.

  • Provide an initial design concept floor plan and site plan.

  • Provide building elevations.

  • Provide a bid/bank set to make sure project is on budget before we proceed any further.

  • Revise concept plans if necessary or proceed to construction documentation phase.

  • Submit construction docs for approvals.

  • Watch the project become a reality!
